I purchased my bedroom dresser about five years ago from Craigslist. It didn't come with an attached mirror, but I've always thought that if I found the right mirror on Craigslist, I could complete my vision for this furniture piece. I finally found it! It's just the right size, delightfully vintage and imperfect, but there is just one problem: it's not painted white. Although it sometimes breaks my heart to paint over beautiful solid wood furniture, I decided to soldier on.

Taping the mirror will ensure minimal paint is left on the mirror surface. |

Two+ coats of paint, followed by a light sanding all over then distressing on the edges and two coats of Annie Sloan clear wax. |
